Today’s branding feature is the Instacart redesign by Wolff Olins. This refreshed logo reinterprets the original carrot logo with a modern twist. At first glance, the carrot seems abstract, almost as if it's still underground, symbolizing growth and natural products. The stem cleverly points downward, indicating where to place products in the cart.
The branding's simplicity and straightforward application are complemented by a beautiful typeface by Ryan Bugden and some beautiful illustrations. The photos, with their 80s-inspired, saturated, and colorful aesthetic, add a touch of nostalgia and excitement.
Overall, this is strong, modern, and flexible branding that beautifully merges the old with the new.
